Q. Good on you, thanks for talking to us Emma! Q. You’re new single ‘Guilty Innocence’ is out this week. How do you think sales will go?
A. I feel that sales will be pretty average; I don't think my music is any more special than any other artists.
Q. But you’re currently known as the Queen of R’n’B...
A. That makes me more nervous, when the public eye is on you, there’s 10 times more pressure to do well. I don’t like being labelled.
Q. After the release of this single, what are your plans?
A. I am doing a UK tour later this year, tickets go on sale on the 18th April! I’m also releasing my own brand of perfume, both male and female scents.
Q. We hear you have been seeing a young lad called Aston Merrygold..
A. News gets around fast.. It’s nothing serious yet, we’re taking things slowly to see what time brings.
Q. You’re one lucky girl there, think he’ll be any different from JT?
A. We can hope, I’m really happy with how things are going and do not want to say too much more, we want to keep it between us at the moment.
Q. Ok, so describe your sense of style.
A. I’d say it was pretty classic with a twist. I don’t make too much of an effort on a day to day basis, as you may have seen in other magazines, I’m a normal girl after all.
Q. Do you wear similar things to what you wear in your music videos?
A. Some of my outfits i wear in my music videos are my own clothes, but others are a bit outrageous to wear shopping.
Q. True, some of your outfits resemble Lady Gaga...
A. That’s pushing it a little. Sometimes I like to look different but...
Q. Sorry, so who are your style icons?
A. I don't like to think I have style icons, I like to be myself. Just like everyone out there should, you’re all amazing just the way you are!
